Etsy Store is Open! Nest Box Pattern Available
I’m excited to announce that my new Etsy store is open at shopamygurumi.etsy.com! It took all weekend to get the store set up, but I’m ecstatic that it’s finally open for business.
My first item available for purchase is the lovely Nest Box pictured in the free Eggcelent Eggs pattern. I had so much fun making this little box. It was inspired by a moment in the backyard with my little boy. We found a baby bird who had apparently fallen from a nest. The little bird was unharmed, and spent a few moments letting us admire him before he flew away safely (much to my relief). I was amazed by the sweet, delicate creature and created this project as a result.
It took about a week to develop the pattern and produce the finished project. When I showed my three-year-old son the Nest Box, his eyes immediately lit up. He opened it to find three of the Eggcelent Eggs and exclaimed “what a pretty nest!” There is no greater reward than that!
