Twitter Bird

Here’s my little bluebird of happiness! He was inspired by my love of Twitter. I think I must tweet my every passing thought sometimes, lol.

I tried some embroidery on him to highlight the nice shaping of his wings. I also am using some chenille-wrapped wire for feet.  I really like the contrast of the yellow and orange against the turquoise blue; I’ll definitely be doing more embroidery in the future. This is also the first time I’ve used the “googly” eyes; they seemed appropriate for the project.

Hi, I love your Twitter bird! Is the pattern available for sale? I checked your Etsy store and didn’t see it. Thanks.

    Hi Jeanette –

The birdie is one-of-a-kind. I didn’t write up a pattern when I created him. Thank you for asking, though. If I get a chance to rework him, I’ll definitely take notes this time. :)
