Just finished writing up the pattern for Fielding the Mouse, my latest amigurumi pattern. He’d make a fun desk/cubicle buddy, and can’t avoid his destiny as a cat toy! Just stuff him with fiberfill and catnip, and let the games begin.

Quick update. This is my first “work-in-progress” pic. Thought it might be nice to show something in an unfinished state. This project is for my sister. She asked for the Honey Bear with a green sweater (lime or chartreuse).

I decided to take out my Caron’s Simply Soft Brites and give them a shot. I like the zing of these colors. I usually am drawn to softer shades, but the mix here gives this a funky kawaii look. I think I’ll try some other projects soon in brights. Maybe an accessory? I’ve been thinking about posting some of my accessory designs in my shop.
